KBS’ musical drama “Dream High” will begin broadcasting in Japan beginning on January 27th through DATV. Due to the recent surge in popularity of Korean idols in Japan, the program is expected to gain much attention overseas.
It has recently been announced that KBS’ new star-studded musical drama, “Dream High” will be begin broadcasting in Japan by the end of this month.
According to Japanese officials, “Dream High” will be broadcast on DATV, Japan’s largest satellite provider beginning January 27th, Thursday at 9pm.
“Dream High”, starring such idols as 2PM’s Taecyeon and Wooyoung, Suzy of miss A, IU, and T-ara’s Eun Jung, has been arguably well received thus far, perhaps suggesting tha the Hallyu wave is still going strong and is continuing in its rapid expansion. Following the recent popularity of Korean idols in Japan, “Dream High” is expected to gain much viewership.
